I Like This!!!

Things You Would Never Know Without Indian Movies ===============================================

1. A man will show no pain while taking the most ferocious beating but will wince when a woman tries to cleanse his wounds.

2. The hero cannot fall in love with the heroine(vice versa) unless they first perform a dance number in the rain.

3. Once applied, make-up is permanent, in rain or in any other situation...

4. Two lovers can be dancing in the field and out of nowhere, 100 people will appear from God-knows-where and join them in the dance.

5. In the final scene, the hero will discover that the bad guy who he is up against is actually his brother and the maid who looked after him is his mother and the chief inspector is his father and the Judge is his uncle and so forth.

6. Key English words used in the movie (usually said out loud between sentences) are No Problem!, My God!, Get Out!, Shut-up!, Impossible!, Please forgive me!

7. They drop down on the ground and roll and roll while singing and come out with different clothing.

8. They can run around the coconut trees, singing, batting eyelids, and throwing glances at each other and changing clothes all at the same time without being out of breath.

Things You Would Never Know Without Chinese Swordsman Movies ===============================================

1. Being the hero's parents will always be unlucky and will usually be killed by enemies when the hero is young, and the hero will become an orphan.

2. When a man is wounded and dying, he always manages to catch his breath and speak a few sentences to reveal the killer before dropping his head and be declared dead.

3. Skilled people are able to fly over roof tops, up trees and across distances without any sweat. But when traveling to towns and villages, they still have to walk or ride horses.

4. The heroes need not have to work for money, but will always have gold and silver with them to pay for their food.

5. The heroes and villains will meet each other very often no matter how big the country is and no matter where they are.

6. Healing internal wounds in the body is as easy as sitting down cross-legged, palms on the knees and smoke coming out from the head.

7. They can keep a lot of stuff in their sleeves and waistband and never drop them (carrying especially lots of those gold and silver ingots)

Fire Alarm Part 2
I have a feeling that Eliot College alarm is purposely set off by Kent Estate Department,
Why?? Still remember when we are in secondary school times??
When there is this day of Fire Alarm Practice thing???
When we get out of the building,
Security Guards are all standing outside the building,
how can they reach to Eliot that fast??
Really unbelievable..
The same day in the morning,
when I was having my practical Lab Session,
I have finish my Chromatography,
I was like packing my things,
the Fire Alarm went off again in the Ingram Building..
This time, all of them are wearing safety vest etc...
I was like WTH, don't tell me this early morning fire alarm is set off by you guys..
I'm gonna have "fire-alarm"-phobia soon...

Fire Alarm

Sh*t!
Which fella that doesn't have things to do in the middle of the night???
Come and find me, I'll give you work to do, like cutting your own balls away..
You don't get yourself drunk and play the fire alarm in the middle of the night,
especially 3am!!!
If the people in Eliot College finds out who is responsible with the alarm,
you won't be able to see sunrise the next morning!
Da*n it..
We have to go outside the building with our pajamas,
I actually don't mind that,
but with very windy outside!
I mind..
And I was wearing only a slipper k?
I do hope that we find out who this guy is,
strip him off and tie him outside all night,
with some mobile alarm unit ringing by his ear all night!
Playing with the alarm once not enough?
After we are clear to go back,
I was planning to sleep at 3.45am,
Another alarm came from you guys again..
And we have to go outside to enjoy the scenery,
having a romantic moonlight view again..
When I went back to my room,
and got into my bed,
WTH???!!!
It's almost 5am in the morning..
2 hours precious sleep wasted..
Later I still have to do Separation by Solvent Extraction... T.T

Day Trip to London

27th October 2007
A day trip to London with some of my friends,
took the National Rail from Canterbury West to Charring Cross,
which took us about 1 1/2 hour..
While two of my friend went for a haircut,
me and Howard went to Covent Garden,
something that had amazed me,
though years ago I had seen something like this before,
but I'm still impressed with them..
They put make-up, dress up, bring props,
day till night,
everyday.. And never give up,
to bring entertainment to people..
And people will still give some money to them,
this is because they really do well..
They can stand for hours,
play with people around,
having little children stand near them and take photos with them..

Then, a group of performers perform Canon in D,
one of my favourite piano song..
They are lovely and friendly,
perform in the public, to give a nice day to the people,
in return with only a few income..
But they still enjoying it..
I'm amazed.

Crown Court, Canterbury

24 October 2007
Visit to Crown Court, Canterbury
the same assignment that is assignment from Law School in LW312,
so my group made a trip to crown court after classes.
I don't want to discuss about the case,
because I don't actually listen to the proceedings...
Well, what I see...
Everything inside a room, it's really everything..
Just a barrier, that it'll depends your freedom..
Where your fate lies in the 12 Juries, and the Judge..
Well, we actually get a warm welcome from the Ushers and Legal Advisers..
Though, NEVER EVER make fool in the court..
Doesn't matter you are just a civilian in a court that listens to the proceedings..
RESPECT the people around you..
I was quite shock when the judge suddenly called a student to the front,
and ask what his name,
and just scolded him in front of all of us because of some offense..
wow.......
It's quite an experience too, actually...

Magistrate Court, Canterbury

17th October 2007
Went to the Magistrate Court of Canterbury in Broad Street after classes.
Had to, because Legal Process for Forensic Science (LW312) want us to do so...
They want us to go in groups which consists of 3 person, but my group got 4..
Observe everything in court, the addressing, the proceedings, and the sentencing..
Well, it's my first time to court,
and first time to get in touch with the legal world...
It's actually nothing in there, just 3 seats for the Magistrates,
a dock for the defense, a witness stand, some tables and chairs,
and 2 rows of seatings for civilians..
That day was quite a boring day,
cause it is all about asking guilty or not,
if yes then do some community service or fine,
if pleaded not guilty, then apply for Crown Court..
They settled 6 cases in just 2 hours time... wow...
I went to Magistrate Court again on the 19th October with my friend,
because we are late, therefore we have to go to Court 2, which is a Trial that day..
Though for the next 2 hours it's been on the same case,
but I can see it interesting,
compared to the first court visit...
Witnesses, Evidence had been bring to court...
The most interesting part is when a lawyer,
which is a solicitor for the defense,
I can see his body language, showing that he is much confidence in this case,
the way he moves, the way he talks..
it shows everything...

Going to Crown Court this Wednesday afternoon,
heard that Crown Court would be better cause there are the trials,
where witnesses will be called upon one-by-one,
evidence will be examined and cross-examined again..
Still don't know yet whether it would be boring or not..

Never be afraid to try something new.

Remember:

Amateurs...built the ark.
Professionals...built the Titanic.

And finally, can you imagine working
for a company that has a little more
than 500 employees and has the
following statistics:

* 29 have been accused of spousal abuse
* 7 have been arrested for fraud
* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks
* 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses
* 3 have done time for assault
* 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit & have been arrested on drug-related charges
* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting
* 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits
* 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year...

Can you guess which organization this is?

Given up yet?

It's the 535 members of the United States Congress.

The same group that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

LENGGANG LENGGANG KANGKUNG
KANGKUNG DI TEPI PAYA
INGIN NAK MAKAN JAGUNG
TAPI SAYANG GIGI TAK ADA

Cars in UK

Cars in UK...

It's normal to see Audi TT around UK... It's not normal to see Audi TT around Malaysia..

It's normal to see Lamborghini around UK... It's not normal to see Lamborghini in the roads of Malaysia, why??? Cause bumps in Malaysia are too high that will scratch your sweet little nice car...

Well, I actually shocked when I saw this... Proton Gen 2 1.6 found in my Uni grounds...

First day in Uni

My first day in Uni finally starts off,
but I had missed the first weeks classes due to late arrival,
I spend all day travelling throughout the campus,
why is the person design the buildings so far away???
First day in Uni, it's been raining whole day, chilling my whole body..
Well, I just made in time to get to my first lecture,
which is held in the cinema,
had a hard time finding the place,
then locating the exact place of the cinema is..
When I walk into the cinema,
I see the theater contains not less than 200 students.. wow...
Met some of the lecturers today, and my personal tutor as well,
all of them are very friendly,
and tried to help me through all the things I missed,
though at here isn't spoon-fed like old times,
still it's a very friendly place..
Had Skills for Forensic Science today,
the lecturer said always make sure that yourself is safe before you carry out any other procedures,
sometimes you have to stand and sees a person die, knowing that you can't get near to him and save him.
Before I took this course,
I've think about this,
More likely this will happens if you are a doctor or a paramedic,
but why CSI or Forensic Scientist have to do with this?
I know I couldn't put emotion during work,
but sometimes I just can't bare to see someone die,
knowing that you can save his life,
but also knowing that if you do so,
you will risk your life,
and end up two person die together.
