Last time I had blogged about my campus. Christmas is around the corner, you can see leaves is falling..
This is a Christmas tree, UoK had attached lights on it.. but unfortunately tonight when I went to take some pics, the lights was not switched on, so couldn't show you guys..
Today I had faced a very funny question, Was in the post office to send something, Well, as you know some mail is charged due to it's weight, but don't know why the system in UK have some complicated system, they included the volume of some parcel as well, so if your box have a volume which is bigger than the weight, they will charge through the volume, quite confusing, but this isn't my question. Well, my question is, as we know there is this North pole and South pole of the Earth...
and places near the North pole or South pole will experience greater force(weight) Since in physic, W = mg, where W is the weight, m is the mass of object and g is the acceleration of gravitational force. And, in real life, we tend to measure most of our products in weight, which is the mass of the object multiply by gravitational force, but we do not know the mass of the object, and we do not memorize the exact value of gravitational force, but we do have the help of a weight scale. So, let say an object X, I brought it in Malaysia (located near the equatorial of Earth), experience a smaller force(weight) because it is in the centre of the field, let say has the weight of 5kg and $10(lazy to convert, so use US dollar as standard), then, i went to Scotland, United Kingdom, and brought the same object X with the weight of 5kg and $10, is the mass the same??? Before I came to UK, I was weight 50kg (I know I'm under weight in BMI) but when I reach UK, I weight 53kg.. wau.. I gain weight!!! yippy.. Is it the scale have some problems?? Or is it because of the magnetic field?? If it's because of the field, then companies that operates near North pole and South pole will have a lot of advantages...
Recently had joined British Red Cross Society of UoK, but I had been skipping 2 meetings.. Some sort of ex-DA hor?? Why skipping it?? Well, not because I had learn everything and felt like I doesn't need to attend the trainings.. But I just couldn't find back the feelings.. The feelings of being together and learn First Aid like secondary school days had gone, I actually miss that kind of feelings, where I willing to go from 8am to 5pm to school, just to be with my friends, but now they only requires us to go from 7pm to 10pm, but I still doesn't want to go.. All gone...
