CNY 2008

Nothing.. yes.. it's nothing for me in this CNY..
spend this few days doing my assignments..
doesn't have the CNY atmosphere either..
no photos showing me cooking wax duck or receiving Ang Bao..
no lion dance.. no oranges..
just went to have dinner with people with ABACUS,
which I have no idea who they are actually,
only know a few of them..

Anyway,
called my Grandma and parents on the 2nd day of CNY through Skype..
calling back to Malaysia fixed line is just £0.014/min (inclusive of VAT charges),
and Malaysia mobile line is just £0.038/min (inclusive of VAT charges)..
it's cheap right???
but calling to UK mobile line will be £0.166/min (inclusive of VAT charges)..
i was like wth again..
Calling half way around the Earth is so cheap,
it's about 4p for every minute you yak with people..
and calling within the country of UK's mobile cost you about 17p for every minute you talk???!!!
no wonder UK people so "rich"!!!
